It is easy to make changes to the format and appearance of the MonitorQA Reports. Below are the steps to make changes and customizations as you see fit.
First, you need to select the template you wish to modify by selecting the Audit Templates selection in the left menu bar, make sure you are on the Checklists tab to see your templates, and then click the 3 dots to the right of the template and click Edit Template.
When you first open the template it will be in Published mode, meaning that it is the version that is in use in the system. To make edits to the template you need to make a copy in “Draft” mode, which you can do by clicking the 3 dots in the upper right, and then “Edit as Draft.”
Once in Draft mode, select the tab labeled PDF Report and you will see the options on the left side of the screen, andn the appearance of those changes in realtime on the right side of the screen. Definitions are available below:
Template: Select the template format you prefer, using the realtime display as your guide.
Show Audit Start Date and Time: You most likely want this left On.
Show Audit Completion Date and Time: Set this as you prefer for your reports.
Show Location Map: This will turn on a map snippet from Google Maps showing the location of the property.
Accent Color: This is automatically set from a color in your logo file, but if you wish to change it to a different color than the one selected you can do so. You can enter in the Color Hex number or choose from the color picker by clicking on the color chip shown.
Export Settings: These only come into play if you are downloading the reports from the MQA dashboard system. By default, HWIT sets standard settings on the reports that are automatically exported for either linking in HWIT/Method or automatically sent from the Starter Kit.
Once you are finished editing the settings, you should save and Publish the changes using the button at the top right of the screen.
