Converting Estimates to Work Orders

You have the ability to take Estimates that you have created in your QuickBooks system and convert those into Work Orders.
If you have entered Estimates for a Customer, you will see them appear when in the Customers Screen on the HW Business Management App as in the following screenshot:

Opening that section will list all Estimates on file for the Customer, as well as the status of the Estimate. A status of Converted means that you have previously created a Work Order for the Estimate. If necessary, you can Convert the Estimate more than once, such as if you need to assign difference pieces to different people or vendors.

Press the “Convert to WO” button next to the Estimate you wish to convert and the system will copy the line items of the Estimate to a new Work Order and take you directly to the new Work Order so that you can assign it and update dates, etc. as necessary.
