Texting Customers On The Way

You can send a text message or SMS to a customer to let them know that you are on the way directly from the Route Technician application.
The first step is to set up the message you wish to send. Note that you can modify it before sending, but it is good to have a default message available.
To set up the Default Message, go to the Preferences Screen and open the Email/SMS section. You’ll see the spot where you can set your default message.
Once that is set, all you have to do is press the Send SMS link on the Route Tech Detail screen. It will then open a message box where you can edit the message. Press Send to actually send the message.
