SafetyCulture Device Limits

SafetyCulture has a limit of 3 mobile devices per user login. When you actually log out of a device it will remove the device from the 3 on your list, however, if you do a software system update, and then log in, the system will recognize that as a new device and not remove the previous one. You can get around this by logging out of the SafetyCulture app before doing an upgrade, or by removing devices from your account manually.


If you attempt to log in and get this message:

It means that you have hit your 3 device limit and need to log out, or delete, some devices from your list. If you aren’t sure which to delete, it doesn’t hurt to delete any or all of them as when you log back in they will be created.


It’s easy to just go in and delete devices:

  1. Log in to the web app.
  2. Click your username on the lower-left corner of the page and select Profile settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and find the device you want to remove under "Devices".
  4. Click the trash can on the right-hand side of the device name.
  5. In the pop-up window, click Remove Device.
