If you have a Work Order (OneTime or Series) that you wish to duplicate for multiple clients, you can use the “Clone” feature to easily copy the Work Order to those new clients, including the capability to easily change the scheduled date.

To perform a clone, first enter a new Work Order or open an existing one that you wish to clone. Then click on the “Duplicate or Create Sub” menu button and select “Clone WO to Other Customers”

The Clone Work Order screen will then open. Please be aware that it might take a few seconds to open, depending on the number of customers you have.

At the top of the screen are the details of the Source Work Order and you can then select which customers you wish to copy to.

When you select the customers, you can change the date that you wish for the Work Order to be scheduled for that customer. Notice in the selection above that all were scheduled on different dates/times.

If you are cloning a Series, the date you put in there will be the date of the first Occurrence of that Series. All Occurrences will be created based on the end date (or no end date) of the original Series, but will be assigned based on the first Occurrence date/time you specify here. In other words, if the original Series was every Monday, and you schedule the first Occurrence for the upcoming Wednesday, all Occurrences for the cloned Series will be assigned on Wednesday. The original/source Series will not be changed.

After you’ve selected the Customers to copy to, and assigned dates, simply press the “Copy to Selected Customers” button and the copy will proceed.

When completed the customer list will refresh, removing any customers that were just cloned to. This will allow you to easily select from the remaining customers as required to finish your scheduling.
